Ghana is experiencing a worrying increase in violent crimes and mysterious killings, prompting urgent calls for government intervention. The Minority in Parliament and the Spain Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have both demanded that the Interior Minister appear before Parliament to address the situation. Lawmakers are pressing for immediate measures to strengthen community security and restore public confidence. The rising insecurity has sparked widespread concern among citizens and political leaders alike. Calls for swift and decisive action are growing as the nation seeks solutions to curb the violence.
Funny how every time there’s a crisis, politicians rush to demand more state control, but it’s the same system that keeps failing people in the first place. Maybe if communities actually had the power and resources to look out for themselves, instead of relying on useless lawmakers, things would be different.

Maybe if the government focused less on controlling every aspect of people’s lives and actually protected basic rights like safety and self-defense, Ghanaians wouldn’t be facing this surge in crime.
It’s high time our leaders put Ghana’s interests first and take real action to protect our people—national security should never be compromised. We need strong policies that prioritize the safety and unity of our nation above all else!
This is exactly why we need stricter laws, tougher policing, and zero tolerance for crime—enough talk, it’s time for the government to crack down hard and restore order.
