Daddy Lumba was a true legend who promoted Ghanaian values and inspired generations—let’s honor his legacy by passing down our cultural traditions and morals to the youth.

This is such a huge loss for Ghana—Daddy Lumba's music really brought people together and pushed for cultural expression and freedom. His influence goes way beyond entertainment; he challenged social norms and gave a voice to so many. I hope the government truly honors his legacy and invests in preserving Ghanaian arts and music for future generations.

Sad to hear about Daddy Lumba’s passing—his music clearly meant a lot to a lot of people! I hope the government doesn’t use this as an excuse to spend taxpayer money on elaborate state funerals or public events, though. Let the people who loved his music honor him in their own way, voluntarily. The best tribute is the way his fans keep his music alive, not top-down mandates or government ceremonies. We should always be careful about politicians turning private grief into public spectacle at the expense of personal freedom and choice.

It’s sad to lose a legend like Daddy Lumba, especially when his music gave voice to the everyday struggles and hopes of working people in Ghana. Let’s hope his legacy inspires more artists to challenge the status quo and speak out against exploitation and inequality.
