Critical race theory is the claim that American institutions, laws, and history are inherently racist. It argues that white people have put up social, economic, and legal barriers between the races in order to maintain their elite status, both economically and politically and that the source of poverty and criminal behavior in minority communities is due exclusively to these barriers.

@93DHP4B3yrs3Y
CRT is inherently racist, dividing the population into oppressed and oppressor.
@8QVRZNP4yrs4Y
No, but teach that being of certain races have more chance of certain outcomes.
@88T9RGX4yrs4Y
No, critical race theory is false.
@528HJMS4yrs4Y
No, we should not be teaching lies in school
@6VFYRRC3yrs3Y
No, kids should not be taught CRT, that's a topic for university students, but, the government should not have any right to ban it.
@6WP5FSY3yrs3Y
Critical Race Theory is an advanced legal theory. Nobody is teaching it. Shut up.
@7PWS6KC3yrs3Y
Critical Race Theory isn't actually taught in schools and CRT isn't actually taught until law school.
@8LSVCGK4yrs4Y
Yes, only if it does not replace our regular Social Studies Curriculum
@8LSVCGK4yrs4Y
No, but there should be context behind the Critical Race Theory
@8LSVCGK4yrs4Y

@8LSVCGK4yrs4Y
Yes, but make it optional with districts
@kaparker4yrs4Y
No, kids should be allowed to develop their own opinions on their own, and other races based on their own life experiences
@8NWQH6W4yrs4Y
No, teenagers should be taught crime statistics, genetic differences and IQ levels by race so they can make up their own mind.
@8PRKY7Q4yrs4Y
No, everybody has equal rights nowdays. And we shouldn’t be taught to treat someone different because of the color of their skin.
@8R6J7RT4yrs4Y

@8RXJ4YR4yrs4Y
It should be the parents decision and job to address this issue.
@8S6JHGR4yrs4Y
yes and no a little bit of both
@8SDSJ924yrs4Y
Kids should be taught to be racially color blind, but should also understand the unequal number of opportunities regarding subjects like employment and education in certain areas in the United States, where certain races are more prominent than others.
@8V2C9ZY4yrs4Y
No criminal, race, nor other differences should be taught in K-12
@8W6YQ2W3yrs3Y
Critical race theory should be taught no where
@8W6Z8JK3yrs3Y
No, but it is good to teach them about our wrongs with things such as slavery, and how African Americans were treated poorly, so we can right our wrongs.
@8WC3QKP3yrs3Y
I think that kids should be raised to be racially color blind and treat everyone equal. But still be taught about the past and the racism in history, learning that it is bad.
@8X3LCNH3yrs3Y
Children should be taught about different cultures, different races, and different religions. They should learn about different ways of living. Being color blind is ridiculous. There is no such thing. How about being color and race educated. Learn about each other's differences and cultures and celebrate them!!! Don't pretend that they do not exist, because they do. The reason we have racism is that all races tend to stick with their own, due to that is what they recognize and know. It's comfortable for them. Make it comfortable for children at an early age...to be accepting of each other.
@8XRJPQ53yrs3Y
No, kids should be taught to love each other regardless of their race
@8Z6PZKW3yrs3Y
Yes, but only as an elective
@9242PSZ3yrs3Y
I think that the class should be offered but not required. I think that it is important that people are informed but they have the option to be.
