No, but abolish the income tax for at least half (maybe 75% or even up to 90%) of Americans, and in turn increase taxes on land and passive income (such as stock ownership or real estate). This would encourage active participation in the economy while simultaneously not punishing high-skilled workers.

I think the rich should pay a tax that is sustainable for them like other taxpayers making it around the equal percentage of pay.

If research can truly prove that a flat tax works, pursue a flat tax and ensure that the government spends the money efficiently.
